Hi, I'm Sever, a Game Master based in Rotterdam who has been running games for over eight years, from living-room one-shots to sixty-session campaigns and company events for teams of thirty.

I fell in love with roleplaying the way most people do: a friend handed me a pre-made character, I made a terrible decision involving a goblin and a barrel of oil, and I never looked back. These days I mostly run Dungeons & Dragons and Daggerheart, with the occasional Call of Cthulhu evening when a group wants to be properly scared.

My games are welcoming, a little chaotic, and always about you. Beginners get a gentle introduction, veterans have space to scheme, and everyone gets a story they will still be quoting a year later.

How I conduct games

I prepare the world, the villains, and the maps so you only need to bring a character idea. Sessions begin with a quick safety and tone check, then we play at a brisk pace: I keep combat flowing, reward creative ideas (rule of cool, always), and lean into whatever your group finds amusing or dramatic. Expect voices, props on the table, and at least one twist you didn’t see coming.

Game systems I facilitate

  • Dungeons & Dragons

    • High Fantasy +7
    • 1 – 7 players
    • Moderate rules

Craft your own fantasy story with Dungeons & Dragons. Assemble a group of daring heroes, outwit traps, negotiate with dragons, and seize treasure in vibrant realms. Imagine the camaraderie of The Lord of the Rings, but you decide the routes, the conflicts, and the conclusion.

Learn more about me

The most amusing character death I experienced was…

…a halfling rogue named Pip who attempted to pickpocket a dragon. It went exactly as you might expect, and I still have the character sheet on my wall.

The moment I realised I wanted to be a Game Master…

…when the table fell completely silent because the villain they had been pursuing for ten sessions turned out to be the innkeeper who had been giving them free soup. I want every table to experience that moment.
