he/him
My name is Evan, and I have been playing D&D for about 10 years now, which is nearly half my life, haha! I grew up surrounded by theatre, having my mother as a drama teacher at universities in London and a director for many plays—it certainly has its effects! One might enjoy improvisation, who knows?
I specialise in horror campaigns and creating that eerie atmosphere, but I've explored many other themes as well! I love the experience of getting to know your character on a personal level and understanding the intricacies of their decision-making, as well as weaving in your backstories. I tend to delve into them quite deeply.
Lastly, I'm based in the UK! I hope to run a session for you soon, whether in person or online!
Cheers,
Evan
How I conduct games
How do I run games...
Well, that’s a pretty tricky question depending on what side of me you want, haha! As I mentioned, I love to incorporate horror into my games, but I think the most important aspect of my approach is the "And then therefore" methodology. I really enjoy crafting deep story campaigns or even one-shots where everything in the narrative has a consequential effect. Everything is part of a larger story. So, to put it simply, how I run games depends on the players; however, I am a massive fan of deep, emotional storytelling!

The villain I became too fond of…
I do love a classic posh British villain with their cane and suits, being a lord and all. Some might recognise this from a campaign called the Crooked Moon, but I adore Phillip Druskenvald so much that I had some art commissioned for him and often use it as my profile picture, haha!
The snack that powers my preparation…
Red Bull.
Red Bull.
Red Bull.
A house rule I will always stand by…
Gaining an Exhaustion level when you go down on death saves! I really enjoy this house rule that I use at many of my more experienced tables, as it adds a sense of consequence to going down, especially in horror campaigns!
